Preheat oven 180°C. Pat the chicken wings dry and coat them with corn starch. Cook for ~20 mins.
To start making the sauce, cook the garlic in a pan. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, bring it to a boil, and reduce until the sauce is a thick consistency. Add corn starch if you need to make the sauce thicker.
Once the wings are done cooking, coat chicken wings with the sauce. Marinate for at least 30 mins.
Bake for another 10 mins until golden brown. Let it cool.
Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions to serve.
