I decided to make spicy noodles during the heatwave in the UK. Whoops.
For this recipe, you can use store bought noodles or make your own handmade ones (hint: you can use my recipe!).
Spicy Peanut Chilli Noodles
Materials
- 1 cup noodles you can make your handmade noodles with my recipe or just use store bought ones
Sauce:
- 3 garlic cloves chopped
- 1 spring onion stalk chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger chopped
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chilli oil add more if you want more heat
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
Garnish:
- Chopped spring onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Start cooking the noodles in a separate pot according to the package or recipe instructions while you are cooking the sauce.
- Cook garlic, spring onion, and ginger in a pot for about 1-2 minutes.
- While ingredients in step 2 are cooking, mix in the rest of the sauce ingredients in a bowl to make the sauce mixture.
- Once the garlic, spring onions, and ginger have cooked for 1-2 minutes, put the sauce mixture into the pot.
- Mix the sauce thoroughly in the pot. Then, throw in the cooked noodles.
- Serve with garnishes.
