As humans of the 21st century, we naturally reflect on the last 365 days of a year during the last few years of any given calendar. And if you are a foodie like me, part of your annual reflection includes reminiscing and praising the best meals you have had.
2021 was a weird year for being a foodie based in the UK. The first 5 months of the year was lockdown so essentially meals were homecooked or takeaway. But after lockdown eased and hospitality (and culinary amusement outside the confines of my home) restarted again, I had some pretty outstanding meals in London in 2021.
Here it is, I am documenting the most memorable and enjoyable meals and restaurants that I visited in London in 2021. A combination of some newly opened restaurants that debuted in 2021 and around lockdowns, and some that have been around for a while [I will denote the restaurants that are new].
